The Janome Friend-to-Friend Challenge!

Our friends at Janome are holding a Friend-to-Friend challenge.

They want to hit 20,000 fans on Facebook and when they do, they’re giving away a FANTASTIC prize!

So … How do you enter?

Visit Janome.com and read their post of the day.

They’re  featuring profiles of some of our good friends, like Anna Maria Horner, Westminster Fibers-Free Spirit Fabrics and the Modern Quilt Guild among so many others.

You’ll get to learn a little about them and the Janome machines in their lives.

Leave a comment on that day’s article and you are entered to win the prize package. You can leave a new comment each day, increasing your odds of winning.

The key is that running total on Facebook

They’ll be watching the numbers grow, and as soon as they hit 20,000, they’ll giveaway a Friend-To-Friend Prize Bundle drawing from all the collected comments.

If you haven’t already, give them a “Like” on Facebook and encourage your friends to do the same, because the sooner they get to 20,000, the sooner they’ll draw a random winner from our janome.com commenters!

Just Two Steps To Enter To Win

1) Visit janome.com each day, starting December 12th, read the article of the day, and leave them a comment about it.

 2) Keep an eye on our Facebook friends and following total, and help us boost that number to 20,000.

Thank YOU for helping the Janome community grow!

Wednesday Wisdom ......

i would like you to know …

… Nancy Wiley, an accomplished artist and celebrated doll maker. Her exhibits are prestigious and her clients are celebrity collectors such as novelist Anne Rice, actors Andy Garcia and Ray Liotta and actress Demi Moore. In 1996, Moore tapped Wiley for a high profile assignment to costume her as a doll for the cover of George magazine.

Nancy was one of the featured artists in the original Where Women Create and I am on my way to her new studio in upstate New York in November to photograph all that she is and all that she does for the magazine. I love the doll makers almost more than anyone.

What they create is magical and it is so “forever”! We begin our passion for dolls when we are young and it continues until we are much much older … at which time we give those collected memories to our daughters and our granddaughters in hopes that they will love our dolls as much as we did.
