Hello, traditions…I get out my handmade paper Santa made in lst grade at South Avenue School, pull the string and his arms and legs move; get out the Christmas stocking my Sue used as a child; get out the Vintage Santa used by my inlaws during the Christmas Holidays…treasures to be sure..then come the recipes, each treasures. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!! Can’t wait to enjoy the additional days….dottie

Our Christmas Eve tradition is that we open our PJ’s and our ornaments for the tree, and then Daddy reads the Grinch to the kids before they go to bed!

Traditions well On the 1st of Dec each year (today) we all put up the Christmas tree with a fabby Christmas CD playing in the back ground this really starts December off and the excitement really begins for Christmas

It’s so nice, the way a keepsake can help one to feel so close to loved ones. My favorite ornament is a little brass reindeer that my mom gave to me one year long ago. My name was engraved on it, and it made me feel very special. Now, years after her passing, when I take that little dear out at Christmas time, I feel so warm and loved, almost like she is there giving me a hug.
I moved this past year after 37 years in the same home…..I am planning new Christmas ideas after doing the same things for so many years……wish me luck…..

For the last 5 years, I’ve started a new tradition. I wait for the family to go off to work, and the children go off to school, and then I come upstairs and spend the whole day decorating the Kitchen and Dinning Room with Christmas magic. It’s the first place they see when they enter. It thrills me to see their first expression.

I really enjoy the WWC magazines and can’t wait for the food magazine.
We are fortunate to live in a place where we can cut a fresh tree every year. The wonderful smell that it brings to our home seems to put everyone in the holiday spirit.
