This week our FABULOUS FRIDAY Creative Women are
Anna and Regina Luna
from
CRAFTY GIRLS WORKSHOP
In truth, Crafty Girls Workshop couldn't exist without our wonderful friends and customers. In general though, there are two women who run the show we call Crafty Girls Workshop.
Regina is a sweet, talented sewista who loves to sew and share her knowledge with those around her. She leans toward the Shabby Chic look and loves soft florals and pretty fabrics. Regina mainly takes care of the shipping and receiving side of CGW because at the moment the fabric is stored at her house! She is always at the ready to pack and ship the orders that come through for a super fast turnaround time. Regina is also an excellent cook and baker and everyone really enjoys testing her creations. Her current favorite project to sew is cute outfits for little girls, and our large selection of patterns and fabrics is giving her a lot to work with!
Anna Luna
Anna is the techy side of CGW. She maintains the website, advertising, and communication with customers through newsletters and social media. Regina taught Anna to sew six years ago and she was hooked! She immediately started the campaign to get her husband (Regina's son) to buy her a Bernina sewing machine for Christmas. Her dream came true and she hasn't looked back since! Now the new dream is to not only have CGW become a huge online success but to move into a brick and mortar store where she and Regina can teach classes. Anna likes funky bright fabrics with large floral prints and is learning to "think outside the blocks" by combining patterns from fabric designers such as Tanya Whelan and Heather Bailey. Anna's favorite project to sew is tote bags that are cute and functional!
Anna and Regina have donated a great prize to our readers – This darling Mary Englebreit tea towel set. Won't these look great in your kitchen?
All you need to do is leave a comment and you are entered!
CraftyGirls Workshop is also offering WWC readers a 10% discount on any order placed between now and the end of MAY. Use the code TCC2010 on their website www.craftygirlsworkshop.com .
