FEATURES OF CREATIVE SPACES
Web and Magazine Publication

features of creative spacesWHERE WOMEN CREATE seeks to represent the most interesting and inspiring solutions to the challenge of designing spaces for the many creative activities women pursue. Do you paint, craft, dance, sew, garden, cook, write, make music or do something else to express your creative spirit? If so, and if you have a great space for it, we want to hear from you!

For web publication as part of our NEWSLETTER or the SILVER SUITCASE SOCIETY please send sample photos of your space with a query letter describing who you are, where you live, what you do and how your space can help our readers be more innovative as they make room in their lives for creativity. Please note that the images themselves often sell us on a space — even if you’ve never had an article published before, we invite you to submit your query because editorial assistance will be provided.

Address your query letter for web publication to Jo Packham, Editor-in-Chief, and mail it with your CD or DVD to Where Women Create, 215 Historic 25th Street, Ogden, UT 84401, or email it, with images attached, to .
NO telephone calls, please.

PHOTOGRAPHERS
Each issue of WHERE WOMEN CREATE relies on excellent photography to showcase interesting women and the spaces in which they work. Please familiarize yourself with our guidelines.

For each studio/creative space, we need images that capture the layout and feeling of the space, including shots from all angles, close-ups of items that help tell the story of how the space is used and inspiring beauty shots that capture the feeling of the space. Images must be shot at a maximum resolution as files must be 300 dpi at final size. Files are to be submitted in RGB color format. Do not convert files to CMYK prior to submission. File formats must be TIF or PSD. If using JPEG file format, save at maximum image quality.

If submitting multiple images please email us: and we will direct you as to how is best for us to receive multiple images. If submitting single images or replacement images and the file is smaller than 10 MB, please email the file to .
